In 2010, Tania decided to further her education in the medical field, but wanted to pursue a path that would support her desire to help patients achieve their medical, physical, nutritional, and psychological goals.  It was then that she enrolled in the Southwest Acupuncture College, where she fell in love with Eastern Medicine.  During this time at the Southwest Acupuncture College, Tania participated in not only the required studies of Chinese Medical Theory, Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, Nutrition, Tui-Na, Tai Qi, and Qi Gong, but also elective courses and seminars.  These include Craniosacral Therapy, PTSD, and an extensive six-month intensive study in Hari-style Japanese acupuncture.  The six-month intensive also included study of the treatment of pediatric patients.  Before graduating in 2014, Tania took advantage of an opportunity to study abroad in Harbin, China for a month-long internship with Heilongjiang University.

Tania has a passion for connecting with patients and helping them achieve their healthcare goals.  Her main interests include those of women's health, pediatrics, veteran support, and nutrition.  She is currently certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture by the NCCAOM, and will be adding a certification in Herbology.  In order to provide the best care possible for her patients, Tania is currently pursuing a degree in western nutrition, with the goals of earning certification both as a Registered Dietitian, and a Functional Medicine Practitioner.
When Tania is not in the clinic, you may find her perusing museums, hiking outdoors, traveling, making jewelry, or playing guitar.
